Journal ArticleDOI
Caudate nucleus volume asymmetry predicts attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) symptomatology in children.
TL;DR: The results support the view that clinical ADHD is the extreme of a behavioral continuum that extends into the normal population.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rebecca L. Billingsley,Gregory W. Schrimsher,Edward F. Jackson,John M. Slopis,Bartlett D. Moore +4 more
TL;DR: The high susceptibility of individuals with NF-1 to develop reading and other learning disabilities seems to be related to the development of the sylvian fissure, and results provide further support for the hypothesized association between sylvan fissures morphologic features and learning disabilities.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rebecca L. Billingsley,Frederick F. Lang,John M. Slopis,Gregory W. Schrimsher,Joann L. Ater,Bartlett D. Moore +5 more
TL;DR: It was concluded that the ventralThalamus may play a role in visual-spatial attention early in development and the risk of unilateral neglect following resection of subcortical tumors that abut the thalamus or disrupt thalamo-corticals projections was confirmed in a retrospective analysis of patients referred for neurocognitive testing.
