TL;DR: Single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses revealed that compound 1 is the first example of bpy units coordinating to different transition metals in one molecule and 2 is a new isomer of [Cu(bpy)V(2)O(6)] which was named the gamma-isomer by us.
Abstract: Three organic–inorganic hybrid compounds [Mn(bpy)V(bpy)V3O11] (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) (1), [Cu(bpy)V2O6] (2) and [Zn(phen)3][V2O6]·10H2O (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) (3) have been synthesized hydrothermally. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses revealed that compound 1 is the first example of bpy units coordinating to different transition metals in one molecule. Compound 2 is a new isomer of [Cu(bpy)V2O6] which was named the γ-isomer by us. In compound 3, a 2-D water sheet with big holes filled by the “naked” [V4O12]4− clusters is found.

TL;DR: In this paper, a polyoxometalate was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectrum, XPS spectrum and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, which is the first example of two-dimensional layer structure constructed from four vanadium-capped pseudo-Keggin tungstates.

TL;DR: In this paper, the Co atom is coordinated by four O atoms from two malonate ligands and two water mol-ecules in a distorted octahedral geometry, and two independent Na+ ions are coordinated by six and eight O atoms, respectively.
Abstract: In the title compound, Na2[Co(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]·H2O, the Co atom and two crystallographically independent Na+ ions lie on twofold rotation axes. The Co atom is coordinated by four O atoms from two malonate ligands and two water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry [Co—O = 1.595 (3)–2.219 (4) A]. The two independent Na+ ions are coordinated by six and eight O atoms, respectively [Na—O = 2.268 (4)–2.844 (3) A]. A two-dimensional hydrogen-bonding network formed by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds stabilizes the crystal structure.

TL;DR: In this paper, the Ni atom is coordinated by four O atoms from two malonate ligands and two water mol-ecules in a distorted octahedral geometry, and two independent Na+ ions are coordinated by five and six O atoms, respectively.
Abstract: In the title compound, Na2[Ni(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]·2H2O, the Ni atom is coordinated by four O atoms from two malonate ligands and two water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. The two independent Na+ ions are coordinated by five and six O atoms, respectively. The crystal structure is stabilized by the three-dimensional hydrogen-bonding network formed by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

TL;DR: The crystal structure determination of the title compound, C11H13N2+·CHO2−, confirms that the N atom in the quinoline ring system is protonated.
Abstract: The crystal structure determination of the title compound, C11H13N2+·CHO2−, confirms that the N atom in the quinoline ring system is protonated. The crystal packing is stabilized by N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions.
