Journal ArticleDOI

[Distribution of findings of scorpions in Buenos Aires city in the period 2001-2012 and their sanitary implications].

TL;DR: Although Toxicology services are geographically related to the zones with higher density of finding of scorpions, the accessibility to the centers with antivenom may hinder its application in the recommended time; some measures to avoid possible delays in the application of the treatment are suggested.
Journal Article

Isoforms modulation of CD44 adhesion molecule in a murine model of ischemia and intestinal reperfusion

TL;DR: L Liver CD44 upregulation in animals subjected to G-IR suggests a contribution of this molecule to lymphocyte activation and migration to this injured organ, and increased isoform expression in spleen may be induced by the proinflammatory environment resulting from a systemic depuration activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modelling of chlorophyll-a and Microcystis aeruginosa decay under the effect of different oxidants in culture media

TL;DR: This is the first modelling report of M. aeruginosa decay by oxidant treatments and counts for each oxidant treatment were highly correlated and successfully linked by a cubic polynomial.
Journal ArticleDOI

Regulated Cell Death of Lymphoma Cells after Graded Mitochondrial Damage is Differentially Affected by Drugs Targeting Cell Stress Responses.

TL;DR: It is concluded that mitophagy influenced RCD of lymphoma cells after MMP collapse by CCCP only within the LDR, while proteasome activity and glycolysis contributed to survival in the HDR under extensive mitochondria and lysosome damage.
