Journal ArticleDOI
Potential allelopathic activity of several sesquiterpene lactone models
TL;DR: A collection of 12 natural and synthetic sesquiterpene lactones with eudesmanolide skeletons have been prepared and tested as allelochemicals in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Regioselective cyclization of α,ω-alkynoic acids catalysed by TpRu complexes: synthesis of endocyclic enol lactones [Tp = hydrotris(pyrazolyl)borate]
Manuel Jiménez-Tenorio,M. Carmen Puerta,Pedro Valerga,F. Javier Moreno-Dorado,Francisco M. Guerra,Guillermo M. Massanet +5 more
TL;DR: The σ-enynyl complex [TpRu{C(Ph)C (Ph)CCPh}(PMeiPr2 )] efficiently catalyses the regioselective cyclization of α,ω-alkynoic acids to yield endocyclic enol lactones having ring size up to 12 atoms as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Allylic Oxidation of Alkenes Catalyzed by a Copper−Aluminum Mixed Oxide
Ana Leticia García-Cabeza,Ruben Marin‐Barrios,F. Javier Moreno-Dorado,María J. Ortega,Guillermo M. Massanet,Francisco M. Guerra +5 more
TL;DR: The oxidation of cyclohexene and valencene has been optimized by design of experiments (DoE) statistical methodology and the corresponding allylic esters are obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI
An efficient synthesis of furanocoumarins
TL;DR: In this paper, an efficient synthesis of linear and angular furanocoumarins has been carried out starting from iodoumbelliferone derivatives, and the average yields were higher than those reported before.
