Low-cost and eco-friendly phyto-synthesis of silver nanoparticles using Cocos nucifera coir extract and its larvicidal activity

TL;DR: In this paper, mesocarp layer extract of Cocos nucifera coir was assessed for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles and the results showed that the reduction of silver ions occurred when silver nitrate solution was treated with aqueous extract of coir at 60°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient phyto-synthesis and structural characterization of rutile TiO2 nanoparticles using Annona squamosa peel extract

TL;DR: The biosynthesis of rutile TiO(2) nanoparticles (TiO( 2) NPs) was achieved by a novel, biodegradable and convenient procedure using fruit peel Annona squamosa aqueous extract using agricultural waste.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photocatalytic degradation of Congo red using Carissa edulis extract capped zinc oxide nanoparticles

TL;DR: The microwave assisted extraction of Carissa edulis extract on ZnO NPs preparation and Congo red dye degradation revels that Zn O NPs exhibit good photocatalytic property.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of palladium nanoparticles using Catharanthus roseus leaf extract and its application in the photo-catalytic degradation

TL;DR: The results showed that effect of time was directly related to synthesized nanoparticles and functional groups has a critical role in reducing the metal ions and stabilizing the palladium nanoparticles in an eco-friendly process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neem leaves mediated preparation of NiO nanoparticles and its magnetization, coercivity and antibacterial analysis

TL;DR: In this article, NiO nanoparticles were synthesized by biosynthesis method with the help of phytoconstituents present in the neem leaf and subjected for structural, optical, morphological and magnetic properties.
