TL;DR: In this article, the authors compare the dry season dragonfly fauna of Indian lowlands with the mountain dragonflies in the plains of India and show that about 30% of dragonfly species are distributed well beyond the borders of the Oriental zoogeographic region, whereas only 3% of the mountain species are not restricted to this region.
