A pH and NH3 sensing intelligent film based on Artemisia sphaerocephala Krasch. gum and red cabbage anthocyanins anchored by carboxymethyl cellulose sodium added as a host complex

TL;DR: In this article, an intelligent Artemisia sphaerocephala Krasch (ASKG)-based film capable of anchoring the natural dye extracted from red cabbage (RCA) was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Developing a highly pH-sensitive ĸ-carrageenan-based intelligent film incorporating grape skin powder via a cleaner process

TL;DR: In this paper, an intelligent film was prepared from ĸ-carrageenan blended with hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and directly adding anthocyanins-rich grape skin powder (GSP) as the indicator with an extraction-free process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rheological behavior of film-forming solutions and film properties from Artemisia sphaerocephala Krasch. gum and purple onion peel extract

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of a natural dye extracted from purple onion peel (POPE) on the rheological properties of the film-forming solutions from Artemisia sphaerocephala Krasch were investigated, and the film properties from ASKG and POPE were also tested.
Journal ArticleDOI

Developing a green film with pH-sensitivity and antioxidant activity based on к-carrageenan and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose incorporating Prunus maackii juice

TL;DR: In this paper, a green PE film with Prunus maackii juice was used for oil packaging and as a label for testing pork freshness, showing that the addition of the juice had no significant effect on the thermal stability of the PE film.
Journal ArticleDOI

Accurately intelligent film made from sodium carboxymethyl starch/κ-carrageenan reinforced by mulberry anthocyanins as an indicator

TL;DR: In this paper, an intelligent film was obtained by casting and drying a blend solution of sodium carboxymethyl starch (CMS) and κ-carrageenan with mulberry anthocyanin extract (MAE) as an indicator, which showed different colors at different pHs.
