Journal ArticleDOI

Abnormal expression of EMT-related proteins, S100A4, vimentin and E-cadherin, is correlated with clinicopathological features and prognosis in HCC

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that high S100A4 and VIM expression and low E-cad expression correlate with an aggressive, malignant phenotype in HCC, and a role for E- cad as a prognostic factor in H CC is supported.
Journal Article

High expression of MAGE-A9 in tumor and stromal cells of non-small cell lung cancer was correlated with patient poor survival.

TL;DR: Cox regression univariate and multivariable analysis revealed that MAGE-A9 expression in tumor cells of NSCLC (P < 0.001) is an independent prognostic factor in five-year overall survival rate.
Journal ArticleDOI

High expression levels of MAGE-A9 are correlated with unfavorable survival in lung adenocarcinoma.

TL;DR: The results showed that a high expression level of MAGE-A9 protein in lung adenocarcinoma tumor cells was related to larger tumor diameter, poor differentiation and poor differentiation, and Cox regression analysis revealed that the expression of Mages A9 in lungAdenoc cancer cells (P < 0.001) is an independent prognostic factor in five-year survival rates.
Patent

Use of MAGE-A9

TL;DR: In this article, a specific siRNA sequence can effectively inhibit expression of the MAGE-A9 protein in the NSCLC cell strains SPC-A-1 and NCI-H1975.
