Journal ArticleDOI

Reorientation measurements in even titanium isotopes

TL;DR: In this paper, the first excited 2 + states in 46,48,50 Ti were Coulomb excited using beams of 35 Cl and 32 S. The results are interpreted in terms of the reorientation effect and yield static quadrupole moments Q( 46 Ti, 889 keV ) = −0.19 ± 0.10 b, Q( 48 Ti, 983 keV ), = − 0.22 ± 0.,08 b and Q( 50 Ti, 1550 keV), = −
Journal ArticleDOI

Coulomb excitation of the first excited state of 28Si

TL;DR: In this article, the Coulomb excitation of 28Si with 60 MeV 32S ions was studied and a mean life τm = 0.73 ± 0.05 ps and static quadropole moment Q =0.22 − 0.09 b were measured.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coulomb excitation of 24Mg with 35Cl ions

TL;DR: In this paper, the Coulomb excitation of a thick 24Mg target was studied with 35Cl ions of 61, 57, and 52 MeV, and their dependence on B(E2) and the quadrupole moment, Q, of the 1.369-MeV state was calculated.
