TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the transition probabilities in atomic cesium using a direct absorption technique and derived an accurate value of the vector transition polarizability of the weak charge.
Abstract: We have measured the $6s\ensuremath{-}{7p}_{1/2,3/2}$ transition probabilities in atomic cesium using a direct absorption technique. We use our result and other previously measured transition rates to derive an accurate value of the vector transition polarizability $\ensuremath{\beta}$ and, consequently, reevaluate the weak charge ${Q}_{W}.$ Our derived value ${Q}_{W}=\ensuremath{-}72.65(49)$ agrees with the prediction of the standard model to within one standard deviation.

TL;DR: In this paper, a theory for energies of J = 1 particle-hole states of neutral neon and for oscillator strengths of transitions from such states to the J = 0 ground state was developed.
Abstract: Ab initio theory is developed for energies of J=1 particle-hole states of neutral neon and for oscillator strengths of transitions from such states to the J=0 ground state. Hole energies of low-Z neonlike ions are evaluated.
