MS2 (M = W, Mo) photosensitive thin films for solar cells

TL;DR: In this paper, textured textured WS2 and MoS2 films are obtained by the techniques of reactive sputtering and solid state reaction, as long as the substrates used are each coated with a 10-20 nm Ni layer.
Journal ArticleDOI

MoS2 thin films obtained by a new technique: Solid state reaction between the constituents in thin film form

TL;DR: In this article, a grain boundary model was proposed to model fluctuations of the barrier height at the grain boundaries, which is the best fit between experimental and theoretical curves, and showed that the films are stoichiometric and homogeneous.
Journal ArticleDOI

Physicochemical characterization of MoS2 films obtained by solid state reaction between the constituents of a multilayer Mo/S…/Mo/S structure

TL;DR: In this paper, solid state reaction was induced by annealing between the Mo and S constituents of a multilayer structure (Mo/S/Mo… Mo/S), and the films were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning and transmission electron microscopy (SEM, TEM), optical absorption and electrical measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improvement of the Electrical Properties of Layered Semiconductor Thin Films by Iodine Treatment

TL;DR: In this paper, a mild annealing treatment at 373 K for 1/2 h to 6 h under iodine atmosphere improves the conductivity of WSe 2, MoS 2, WS 2 thin films, obtained by solid state reaction between the metal and the chalcogen sequentially deposited.
