Journal ArticleDOI

Binding of (125I)iodohydroxybenzylpindolol to putative beta-adrenergic receptors of rat glioma cells and other cell clones.

TL;DR: While most compounds that interacted with the beta-adrenergic receptor also influenced binding to the second site, the latter did not distinguish between stereoisomers of propranolol, and its affinity for the other compounds tested was poorer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Expression of genes for metabolism of cyclic adenosine 3':5'-monophosphate in somatic cells. beta-Adrenergic and PGE1 receptors in parental and hybrid cells.

TL;DR: Paucity of beta-adrenergic receptors is probably a sufficient, albeit not necessarily complete, explanation for the decreased beta- adrenergic responsiveness of the hybrid clones.
