Journal ArticleDOI

Inclusive D*′ production in pp collisions with massive charm quarks

TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived the massless limit from the massive theory and established a massive theory with MS-bar subtraction which approached the mass-less theory with increasing transverse momentum.
Journal ArticleDOI

QED radiative corrections for parton distributions

TL;DR: Numerical results indicate that these radiative corrections due to the emision of photons from quarks which contribute to deep inelastic lepton-nucleon scattering as well as to {ital pp} collisions at high energies are negligible except at extremely large{ital Q}{sup 2} and large {ital x}.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inclusive B-meson production at the LHC in the general-mass variable-flavor-number scheme

TL;DR: In this article, the authors calculate the next-to-leading-order cross section for the inclusive production of B mesons in pp collisions in the general-mass variable-flavor-number scheme, an approach that takes into account the finite mass of the b quarks.
Journal ArticleDOI

Supersymmetry with R-parity breaking: Contact interactions and resonance formation in leptonic processes at LEP2

TL;DR: In supersymmetric theories with R-parity breaking, trilinear couplings of two leptons to scalar sleptons are possible as mentioned in this paper, and the formation of tau-sneutrinos, e + e − → ν τ, with a mass in the range close to the LEP2 energy or even within the reach of this machine, is an exciting speculation which can be investigated in the coming LEP 2 runs with energies close to s = 200 GeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Supersymmetry with R-Parity Breaking: Contact Interactions and Resonance Formation in Leptonic Processes at LEP2

TL;DR: In supersymmetric theories with R-parity breaking, trilinear couplings of two leptons to scalar sleptons are possible as mentioned in this paper, and such interactions would manifest themselves through contact terms in Bhabha scattering and in annihilation to mu or tau pair.
