Journal Article

Calorimetric investigation of the excess entropy of mixing in analbite-sanidine solid solutions: lack of evidence for Na,K short- range order and implications for two-feldspar thermometry.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derived an expression for the two-feldspar thermometer that is consistent with present knowledge of the thermodynamics of these solid solutions, and used this expression to obtain the heat capacity of five highly disordered alkali feldspars.
Journal Article

The thermodynamic properties of fluor'topaz

TL;DR: In this paper, the standard thermodynamic properties of fluor-topaz, AlzSiOnFz, have been calculated from low and high-temperature heat-capacity measurements and from hightemperature oxide-melt calorimetry.
Journal Article

Heat capacities and entropies of rhodochrosite (MnCO3) and siderite (FeCO3) between 5 and 600 K.

TL;DR: In this article, the heat capacities of rhodochrosite from Alma, Colorado, having the composition (MnseeaFesoosMgooor) and siderite of composition (FeogsoMnooazMgoooz) were measured between 5 and 550 K by combined cryogenic-adiabatic and differential scanning calorimetry.
