Thin CdS films prepared by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition
TL;DR: In this paper, polycrystalline CdS thin films have been deposited on borosilicate glass substrates coated with ITO film by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition using dimethyl cadmium and diethyl sulfide as source materials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transient currents in nematic liquid crystals.
Akihiko Sugimura,Nobuyuki Matsui,Yutaka Takahashi,Hajimu Sonomura,Hiroyoshi Naito,Masahiro Okuda +5 more
TL;DR: A simple model based on the time variation of an applied voltage and the internal electric field induced by the adsorbed electric charges on the cell substrate has been proposed and the results from the model agree reasonably well with the experimental observations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural and Electrical Properties of Chemical-Solution-Deposited CdS Films for Solar Cells
TL;DR: In this paper, the structural and electrical properties of CdS films prepared by chemical-solution deposition have been studied, and the dark resistivity of more than 104 Ωcm of as-deposited films decreased by about three orders of magnitude to about 10 Ω cm upon annealing in N2 atmosphere at 300-500°C for 20 minutes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transient Current Dependent on Nematic Director Orientation
TL;DR: In this article, the experimental results of transient currents induced by the polarity reversal of an applied DC voltage in nematic liquid crystals have been studied experimentally and theoretically, and experimental results on transient currents have been successfully explained from the interpretation of the different adsorbed charge ratio, which is the ratio of the adorbed charges to the total amount of the charges in the cell.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Substrate Temperature on the Photovoltaic Properties of a CdS/CdTe Solar Cell
TL;DR: In this paper, structural and electrical properties of thin-film CdTe thin films prepared by the conventional vacuum evaporation method were studied and the conversion efficiency of the CdS/CdTe solar cells increased with increasing substrate temperature.
