Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of sowing date and growth duration on growth and yield of groundnut in a Mediterranean-type environment in Turkey
TL;DR: The results revealed that the most suitable period for groundnut sowing is between mid-May and early June for the eastern Mediterranean region since plants expose to suitable temperature regimes during the vegetative and the reproductive growth stages, and receive more solar radiation and sunshine duration during the entire growing period.

Tillage and Residue Management Effects on Properties of an Ultisol and Double-Cropped Soybean Production1
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Planting Method and Plant Population on Growth and Yield of Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) in a Mediterranean Type of Environment
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of seed size and in-row spacing on growth and yield of early potato in a mediterranean-type environment in Turkey.
Leyla Gulluoglu,Halis Arioglu +1 more
TL;DR: It was concluded that using larger tubers had an advantage for vigorous early growth and for obtain high tuber yield in early potato production in the mediterranean-type environments and seed size should be considered during recommendation for planting density in potato production.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genotype x environment interaction and stability analysis of sweetpotato (Ipomoea batatas) genotypes
TL;DR: Sweetpotato has a great adaptability and yield potential in irrigated Mediterranean‐type and semi‐arid environments, whereas non‐traditional production areas such as Adana, Diyarbakir, and Sanliurfa may be more suitable for sweetpotato production than Hatay, the traditional production area, because of the potential for higher yield.
