TL;DR: The stimulus, types of shape-shifting behaviors, mechanisms of deformation, and applications of 4D printing are introduced.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cold start capability and durability of electrospun catalyst layer for proton exchange membrane fuel cell
TL;DR: In this paper, the electrospun catalyst layer (E-spun CL) was found capable of improving both catalyst performance and durability under normal temperature operations, which is attributed to the optimized pore structure, which resulted in less mass transport losses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Alternate Hydrogen Pump Method Enables Start-Up from -30°C for Graphite-Bipolar-Plate Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance of stainless steel interconnects with (Mn,Co)3O4-Based coating for solid oxide electrolysis
Emir Dogdibegovic,Sergio Ibanez,Anila Wallace,David Kopechek,Gene Arkenberg,S. L. Swartz,J. M. Funk,Michael Reisert,Muhammad A. Rahman,Ashish Aphale,Prabhakar Singh,Han Ding,W. Tang,Michael V. Glazoff,Dong Ding,Theis Løye Skafte,Michael C. Tucker +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the ChromLok™ MCO-based composition (Mn,Co) 3 O 4 is applied to Crofer 22 APU stainless steel and evaluated specifically for application in solid oxide electrolyzer stacks operating around 800 °C and utilizing oxygen-ion-conducting solid oxide cells.
