Low-Frequency Stability Analysis of Single-Phase System With dq -Frame Impedance Approach—Part I: Impedance Modeling and Verification

TL;DR: The dq-frame impedance measurement method for single-phase systems based on the Hilbert transform is proposed, and the modeling approach is verified by the frequency-domain simulations on the switching models.
Journal ArticleDOI

Low-Frequency Stability Analysis of Single-Phase System With $dq$ -Frame Impedance Approach—Part II: Stability and Frequency Analysis

TL;DR: Through the comprehensive analysis in this paper, the mechanism of LFO in high-speed railway system is further elucidated, and it is suggested that the negative impedance of the converters will contribute to the LFO.
Journal ArticleDOI

Input Impedance Modeling and Verification of Single-Phase Voltage Source Converters Based on Harmonic Linearization

TL;DR: A mirror-frequency impedance modeling and measurement approach of single-phase VSCs in the stationary frame based on harmonic linearization is proposed and results indicate that the mirror- frequency impedance model considering the dc-link voltage control is more accurate and better captures the cross-coupling dynamics of V SCs.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Approach to Suppress Low-Frequency Oscillation by Combining Extended State Observer With Model Predictive Control of EMUs Rectifier

TL;DR: Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed improved model predictive control combining with extended state observer not only effectively suppresses LFO but also accelerates the response speed of traction line-side converter, reduces the distortion of grid-side and vehicle-side currents, and overcomes the disadvantages of MPC and dq decoupling control under the mismatching of system parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Impedance Modeling and Stability Analysis in Vehicle-Grid System with CHB-STATCOM

TL;DR: The experimental results show that the CHB-STATCOM has a good dynamic compensation effect and can efficiently suppress the LFO, and a dSPACE based controller hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform is established, which includes the physical control circuits of eight EMUs.
