Harmonic Beamforming in Antenna Array With Time-Modulated Amplitude-Phase Weighting Technique
TL;DR: In this article, a novel module named time-modulated amplitude-phase weighting with multiple branches (TMAPW-MB) is proposed to realize harmonic beamforming, which eliminates the conventional digital phase shifters and digital attenuators in antenna arrays.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Wideband, Low-Profile Log-Periodic Monopole Array With End-Fire Scanning Beams
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a wideband, low-profile phased array with vertically polarized end-fire radiation patterns, which could be completely embedded within a shallow cavity for sight invisible integrated installation on metallic platforms.
Journal ArticleDOI
Design and analysis of an amplitude-phase weighting module for harmonic beamforming in time-modulated antenna arrays
TL;DR: Based on the developed model, the nonideal TMS can accurately evaluate the attenuated amplitude, shifted phase, and power spectrum leakage effect of the fabricated TMAPW module and the sidelobe level (SLL) errors in radiation patterns are reduced with the proposed nonideals TMS.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Novel Printed Dual-Log-Periodic Array Antenna for UHF Near-Field RFID Applications
TL;DR: In this article, a dual-log-periodic array antenna is proposed for ultra-high frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) applications, where two closely spaced oppositely directed currents are introduced to achieve intensive and uniform magnetic fields in the near-field zone.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Pattern Synthesis of a Time-modulated Vivaldi Linear Array with MOEA/D Algorithm
TL;DR: In this article, the periodicity of the single-pole single throw (SPST) radio frequency (RF) switches is investigated for pattern synthesis of a practical X-band 16-element Vivaldi linear array.
