TL;DR: Mediation analysis showed that the mechanisms involving knowledge and attitudes were particularly important in determining women’s intentions about screening participation, and the need to provide good-quality information on screening outcomes and to communicate this information effectively, so that women can make well-informed decisions.

TL;DR: Cognitive impairment was present in 36% of CRC patients prior to adjuvant CTh, with 10% self-reporting impairment and 52% reporting fatigue, and cognitive function and fatigue prior to CTh were not associated with cytokines, sex hormones, clotting factors, CEA or apoE genotype.

TL;DR: HNC patients who are either tertiary educated or female are more likely to prefer active involvement in decision-making, and psychological distress is more likely in patients actively involved in decision making, younger patients, and in females.
