Rolling contact bearing with rotational speed measuring device

Abstract: A rolling contact bearing with rotational speed measuring device, in particular a wheel bearing for motor vehicles for telemetric transmission of energy and signal between bearing and environment, insensitive to tolerances of the bearing and its surrounding parts, with simple and cost-effective construction and small dimensions. A first telemetry unit is integrated in the inter-ring seal. It comprises pulse transmitter, rotational speed sensor, telemetry electronics and a miniature coil, which is inductively coupled with a further telemetry unit, which is fitted axially outside the bearing, and which supplies the first telemetry unit with energy and receives its signals.
Patent

Antifriction mounting having a rotational-speed measuring device protected from contamination

TL;DR: In this article, an antifriction mounting includes a bearing having an inner and an outer ring and rolling bodies between them, and a seal closes the lateral side of the bearing between the rings.
Patent

Bearing with protected revolution counter for vehicles

TL;DR: In this article, a bearing has an encoder mounted on the rotating inner race and consisting of a magnetic mounting ring with gear teeth or holes, or multi-polar magnetic segments (3b) e.g. an elastomer filled with magnetic particles.
Patent

Wheel bearing unit with positively engaging connection of two annular parts which can be fitted one into the other

TL;DR: In this article, a circumferential restriction on the projection of the axial fixing device which is to be deformed is provided, the centre of which constriction lies approximately in the region of the edge of the bearing ring.
Patent

Preassembled taper roller bearing - has plastics cage with elastic protrusions engaging in groove in race

TL;DR: The pre-assembled oblique roller bearing is particularly of the taper type, having an inner race with a guide edge at least at the larger end, while no such edges are formed on the outer one as discussed by the authors.
