TL;DR: In this article, the triflate was found to be very weakly coordinating to the germanium in the solid state, and this result was confirmed by DFT calculations, and all the spectroscopic data are consistent with the L2(X)Ge ligands being good σ-donors and poor π-acceptors in these complexes, similar to the phosphine ligands in homologous R3P complexes.

TL;DR: Upon warm up, persistent aminohydrazinocarbenes undergo beta-fragmentation reactions that are the first example of a homolytic fragmentation for a persistent singlet carbene.
Abstract: Upon warm up, persistent aminohydrazinocarbenes undergo β-fragmentation reactions. Experimental as well as computational evidences are reported for the involvement of radical processes. This is the first example of a homolytic fragmentation for a persistent singlet carbene.
