Plasmon Hybridization in Individual Gold Nanocrystal Dimers: Direct Observation of Bright and Dark Modes
Shu-Chun Yang,Hiromu Kobori,Chieh-Lun He,Meng-Hsien Lin,Hung-Ying Chen,Cuncheng Li,Masayuki Kanehara,Toshiharu Teranishi,Shangjr Gwo +8 more
TL;DR: It is confirmed that the plasmon coupling modes with the scattering polarization along the incident light direction result from the transverse-magnetic-polarized incident light, which induces two near-field-coupled dipole moments oriented normal to the air-substrate interface.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural Tuning of Optical Antenna Properties for Plasmonic Enhancement of Photocurrent Generation on a Molecular Monolayer System
Katsuyoshi Ikeda,Katsuyoshi Ikeda,Katsuyoshi Ikeda,Kenji Takahashi,Takuya Masuda,Hiromu Kobori,Masayuki Kanehara,Toshiharu Teranishi,Toshiharu Teranishi,Kohei Uosaki,Kohei Uosaki +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, structural tuning of optical antenna properties, which is indispensable for selective enhancement of photochemical reactions, is demonstrated as plasmonic enhancement of photoinduced electron transfer reactions on porphyrin-based monolayer systems using the sphere-plane nanoantennas.
