Amorphous Vanadium Oxide/Carbon Composite Positive Electrode for Rechargeable Aluminum Battery

TL;DR: Electrochemical properties ofmorphous vanadium oxide/carbon composite was first applied to the positive electrode active material for rechargeable aluminum batteries and exhibited that the redox of vanadium ion in the V2O5/C active material occurred during discharging and charging.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient organic light-emitting diodes with phosphorescent platinum complexes containing N∧C∧N-coordinating tridentate ligand

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe the phosphorescent characteristics of two platinum complexes containing an N∧C∧N-coordinating tridentate ligand: platinum(II) 3,5-di(2-pyridyl)toluene chloride [Pt(dpt)Cl] and a newly synthesized platinum( II) 3.5-dicalbazolylbiphenyl (CBP) host showed highly efficient photoluminescence.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical characterization of various metal foils as a current collector of positive electrode for rechargeable lithium batteries

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of various metal foils as a current collector of the positive electrode for rechargeable lithium batteries was carried out by cyclic voltammetry, potentiostatic electrolysis and a.c. impedance measurement.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical characteristics of a homogeneous amorphous alloy prepared by ball-milling Mg2Ni with Ni

TL;DR: In this paper, a homogeneous amorphous ball-milling Mg2Ni with metallic Ni (70 wt.% vs. Mg 2 Ni) was shown to lead to the formation of a homogenous amorphized alloy, which exhibited a maximum discharge capacity of ca. 870 mAh g (Mg 2Ni)−1 at 30°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photochemical Reduction of Carbon Dioxide to Methanol Using ZnS Microcrystallite as a Photocatalyst in the Presence of Methanol Dehydrogenase

TL;DR: In this paper, photoinduced reduction of formate to methanol has been achieved using ZnS microcrystalline colloid which contained formate, methanolis dehydrogenase (MDH), pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) as an electron mediator for MDH, and 2-propanol.
