Crystal structure of cis-(carbonyl)(.eta.1-carbon dioxide)bis(2,2'-bipyridyl)ruthenium, an active species in catalytic carbon dioxide reduction affording carbon monoxide and HCOO-
TL;DR: In this paper, an aqueous HCl solution to a MeOHB solution of [Ru(bpy){sub 2}-(CO{sub 2]]{sup 2+}. 11 refs., 2 figs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reactions of [RuCl2(NO)(terpy)]+ (terpy = 2,2′ : 6′,2″-terpyridine) with mono anions such as NO2−, Br− and N3−, and structural studies on terpyridineruthenium having a nitrosyl ligand
TL;DR: In this article, a single-crystal X-ray crystallography was used to characterize the terpy ligands of [RuCl2(NO)(terpy)]PF6 and showed that the two chloro ligands are located trans to each other with the nitrosyl ligand on the plane of the terapy ligand.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reactions of Acetonitrile Coordinated to a Nitrosylruthenium Complex with H2O or CH3OH under Mild Conditions: Structural Characterization of Imido-Type Complexes
Hirotaka Nagao,Toshiyuki Hirano,Naotoshi Tsuboya,Soni Shiota,Masao Mukaida,Takao Oi,Mikio Yamasaki +6 more
TL;DR: A nitrosylruthenium complex containing the methyl methylcarboxyimidate ligand and the structural formula of this single crystal was thus [Ru(NO)(NH=C(OH(0.5))CH(3))(bpy)(2)](PF(6))(2).
Journal ArticleDOI
Adduct between quadricyclane and (η5-cyclopentadienyl)(1,2-benzenedithiolato)cobalt(III): formation and structure
Masatsugu Kajitani,Hiroshi Hatano,Tetsuji Fujita,Tetsuyuki Okumachi,Hirotaka Nagao,Takeo Akiyama,Akira Sugimori +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a skeletal rearrangement of quadricyclane (Q) is proposed to obtain a 1:1 adduct with a unique structure, in which the 5 and 7 positions of norbornene are bonded to Co and S of 1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of the E Isomer of Tetrasubstituted [5]Cumulene and Trapping of the Z Isomer as a Zirconocene Complex
Noriyuki Suzuki,Nozomu Ohara,Kosuke Nishimura,Yoshio Sakaguchi,Shinkoh Nanbu,Sohei Fukui,Hirotaka Nagao,Yoshiro Masuyama +7 more
TL;DR: The E isomer of a [5]cumulene derivative, 2,2,9,9-tetramethyl-3,8-diphenyldeca-3.4,5,6,7-pentaene (1), which was previously believed to be unisolable owing to very fast E/Z isomerization, was isola...
