A Discrete Dynamic Model with Distributed Transport Delays and Its Hierarchical Optimization for Preserving Stream Quality

TL;DR: It is shown that the distributed delay model is the most realistic one by comparing the responses for no delay, pure delay, and distributed delay models and that the hierarchical optimization technique is a powerful tool for optimizing fairly large dimensional discrete dynamic systems having distributed transport delays and state and control constraints.
Journal Article

Structural modeling and systems analysis of uneasy factors for realizing safe, secure and reliable society

TL;DR: The DEMATEL is revised and effective factors to be resolved in order to realize future safe, secure and reliable (SSR) society are found.
Journal ArticleDOI

Behavioral models for complex decision analysis

TL;DR: The focus of this paper is to propose some behavioral models to explain the violations of expected utility models for the individual decision making; and a model to describe the ethical consensus formation process among multi-agent conflicting decision makers.
Journal ArticleDOI

A new multiobjective genetic algorithm with heterogeneous population for solving flowshop scheduling problems

TL;DR: This research concludes that hMGA developed in this work is promising as it can produce a new set of Pareto-optimum solutions that have not been found by MOSA before.
