Journal ArticleDOI

GMSC-Derived Exosomes Combined with a Chitosan/Silk Hydrogel Sponge Accelerates Wound Healing in a Diabetic Rat Skin Defect Model.

TL;DR: The combination of GMSC-derived exosomes and hydrogel could effectively promote skin wound healing in diabetic rats by promoting the re-epithelialization, deposition and remodeling of collagen and by enhancing angiogenesis and neuronal ingrowth.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of FGF2 and TGFβ1 on the differentiation of human dental pulp stem cells in vitro

TL;DR: In this article, two crucial growth factors, FGF2 and TGFbeta1, were investigated to determine their inductive effects on the odontoblastic differentiation of human dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) in vitro.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reconstruction of alveolar bone defects using bone morphogenetic protein 2 mediated rabbit dental pulp stem cells seeded on nano-hydroxyapatite/collagen/poly(L-lactide).

TL;DR: The findings indicated that stem cells existed in adult rabbit dental pulp tissue and the tissue-engineered bone complex with nHAC/PLA, rhBMP-2, and autologous DPSCs might be a better alternative to autOLOGous bone for the clinical reconstruction of periodontal bone defects.
Journal ArticleDOI

The osteogenic differentiation of dog bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in a thermo-sensitive injectable chitosan/collagen/β-glycerophosphate hydrogel: in vitro and in vivo

TL;DR: Partial bone formation was observed in the chitosan/collagen/β-GP hydrogel loaded with pre-osteodifferentiated dog-BMSCs, which indicated that chitOSan/ collagen/ β-GPHydrogel composite could induce osteodifferentiation in BMSCs without exposure to a continual supply of external osteogenic factors.
