Mapping and analysis of a novel candidate Fusarium wilt resistance gene FOC1 in Brassica oleracea
Honghao Lv,Zhiyuan Fang,Limei Yang,Yangyong Zhang,Qingbiao Wang,Yumei Liu,Mu Zhuang,Yuhong Yang,Bingyan Xie,Bo Liu,Jisheng Liu,Jungen Kang,Xiaowu Wang +12 more
TL;DR: The fine mapping and analysis of a candidate gene for FOC1 using a double haploid population with 160 lines and a F2 population of 4000 individuals derived from the same parental lines confirmed that the resistance to Fusarium wilt was controlled by a single dominant gene based on the resistance segregation ratio of the two populations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of InDel markers linked to Fusarium wilt resistance in cabbage
Honghao Lv,Limei Yang,Jungen Kang,Qingbiao Wang,Xiaowu Wang,Zhiyuan Fang,Yumei Liu,Mu Zhuang,Yangyong Zhang,Yan Lin,Yuhong Yang,Bingyan Xie,Bo Liu,Jisheng Liu +13 more
TL;DR: This study lays the foundation for fine mapping and cloning of the FOC gene and for marker-assisted selection in cabbage resistance breeding.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genetics and fine mapping of a purple leaf gene, BoPr, in ornamental kale (Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala)
Xiaoping Liu,Bao-zhen Gao,Fengqing Han,Zhiyuan Fang,Limei Yang,Mu Zhuang,Honghao Lv,Yumei Liu,Zhansheng Li,Chengcheng Cai,Hailong Yu,Zhiyuan Li,Yangyong Zhang +12 more
TL;DR: The fine mapping and analysis of a candidate purple leaf gene using a backcross population and an F2 population derived from two parental lines indicated that the purple leaf trait is controlled by a single dominant gene, which is named BoPr.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparative Transcriptome Analysis between Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) and Wild Cabbage (Brassica macrocarpa Guss.) in Response to Plasmodiophora brassicae during Different Infection Stages
Xiaoli Zhang,Yumei Liu,Zhiyuan Fang,Zhansheng Li,Limei Yang,Mu Zhuang,Yangyong Zhang,Honghao Lv +7 more
TL;DR: This is the first report about comparative transcriptome analysis for broccoli and its wild relative during the different stages of P. brassicae infection and the results should be useful for molecular assisted screening and breeding of clubroot-resistant genotypes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of glucosinolates in 80 broccoli genotypes and different organs using UHPLC-Triple-TOF-MS method
Zhansheng Li,Shuning Zheng,Yumei Liu,Zhiyuan Fang,Limei Yang,Mu Zhuang,Yangyong Zhang,Honghao Lv,Yong Wang,Donghui Xu +9 more
TL;DR: To characterize and quantify glucosinolate compounds and contents in broccoli, a total of 80 genotypes and eight developmental organs were analyzed with UHPLC-Triple-TOF-MS, and there were positive correlations among hydroxyglucobrassicin, methoxyglucoerucin, gluconasturtiin, glucoraphanin, and glucotropaeolin.
