Journal ArticleDOI

Aggregation-induced emission enhancement of 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzothiazole-based excited-state intramolecular proton-transfer compounds.

TL;DR: Different aggregation forms of these two organic compounds, due to the steric hindrance of a single tert-butyl group, could be responsible for the notably different degrees of the fluorescence enhancement.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, spectroscopic and thermal properties of a series of azo metal chelate dyes

TL;DR: In this article, a series of azo metal chelate dyes have been synthesized and the UV-Vis absorption spectra of the azo dye and its metal complexes were measured.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ultraviolet electroluminescence from p-GaN/i-ZnO/n-ZnO heterojunction light-emitting diodes

TL;DR: In this paper, a 30 nm i-ZnO layer was grown on p-GaN by reactive magnetron sputtering, then a n-ZNO was deposited by the electron beam evaporation technique.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optical recording performance of thin films of phthalocyanine compounds

TL;DR: In this paper, the absorption regions of vacuum sublimated thin films of vanadyl phthalocyanine (VOPc), tetra-pentyloxy phthalocyanin(TNPcVO) and tetra nonyloxy phhthalocynyloxy (TPcVO), were matched with the wavelengths of semiconductor lasers for write-once read-many optical recording materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Application of phthalocyanine thin films in optical recording

TL;DR: The absorption spectrum of vacuum deposited phthalocyanine thin films showed a comparatively broad absorption region at the wavelength region 580-850 nm, which matched with the wavelengths of semiconductor diode lasers as mentioned in this paper.
