Journal ArticleDOI
In vitro additive antitumor effects of dimethoxycurcumin and 5‐fluorouracil in colon cancer cells
Huiying Zhao,Qingchun Liu,Saisai Wang,Fang Dai,Xiaofei Cheng,Xiaobin Cheng,Wenbin Chen,Min Zhang,Dong Chen +8 more
TL;DR: Combination therapy of DMC and 5‐Fu had increased efficacy on the above pathways compared with either drug alone, and combined treatment led to an additive antitumor effect in colon cancer cells that was related to apoptosis induction, G0/G1 phase arrest, increased ROS production, decreased mitochondrial membrane potential, and enhanced endoplasmic reticulum expansion.
Journal ArticleDOI
The long non-coding RNA HOXA11-AS promotes epithelial mesenchymal transition by sponging miR-149-3p in Colorectal Cancer.
Dong Chen,Min Zhang,Jian Ruan,Xiaolin Li,Saisai Wang,Xiaofei Cheng,Huiying Zhao,Ying Zeng,Jingjing Liu,Kang-Xin He,Peng Zhao +10 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that high expression of HOXA11-AS is correlated with CRC progression and poor prognosis and may promote metastasis via EMT by modulating miR-149-3p.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synchronous isolated splenic metastasis from cancer of hepatic flexure of colon: A case report.
TL;DR: The patient underwent isolated splenic metastasis resection successfully by laparoscopic after four courses of chemotherapy and was subsequently followed up every 3 months and no signs of recurrence were noted in a recent examination.
Journal ArticleDOI
Application of spontaneously closing cannula ileostomy in laparoscopic anterior resection of rectal cancer
Dong Chen,Huiying Zhao,Qiang Huang,Xiangming Xu,Xiaofei Cheng,Bingxin Ke,Danyang Wang,Hanju Hua,Jiahe Xu,Jianjiang Lin,Feng Ye +10 more
TL;DR: The SCCI procedure was demonstrated to be a safe and feasible diverting technique to protect anastomosis from AL and obviated the requirement for stoma reversal surgery, which resulted in decreased lengths of postoperative hospital stay, hospitalization costs and stoma periods.
