TL;DR: Some heavy metal concentrations were determined in the muscle tissues of two commonly consumed fish species, Trachurus mediterraneus (Mediterranean horse mackerel) and Merlangius merlangus (Whiting), which are the fifth and sixth highest commercial catches of marine fish species in Turkey, respectively.
