In accordance with an embodiment the system comprises a pad or similar base unit that contains a primary, which creates an alternating magnetic field by means of applying an alternating current to a winding, coil, or any type of current carrying wire. A receiver comprises a means for receiving the energy from the alternating magnetic field from the pad and transferring it to a mobile or other device. In some embodiments the receiver can also comprise electronic components or logic to set the voltage and current to the appropriate levels required by the mobile device, or to communicate information or data to and from the pad. Embodiments may also incorporate efficiency measures that improve the efficiency of power transfer between the charger and receiver.

A method and apparatus generate a group service flow in a mobile communication system. An Advanced Mobile Station (AMS) in a mobile communication system transmits an AAI_REG-REQ message, which includes a group service request indicator indicating that it is required to generate the group service flow, to an ABS. The AMS receives an AAI REG-RSP message and an AAI_DSA-REQ message, which includes at least one of a group service flow parameter for the group service flow, a multicasting Station Identifier (STID), a multicasting flow ID, a group service flow ID, and information indicating a use of the group service flow, from the ABS. The AMS then generates the group service flow in cooperation with the ABS in accordance with the AAI_DSA-REQ message.

SOLUTION: A relay station (RS) device according to the present invention includes a database, a controller, and a transmitter. The database is used for managing a connection identifier (CID) set assigned from a base station (BS) beforehand. The controller accesses the database to assign one CID of the CID set to a mobile station (MS) when receiving a predetermined control message from the MS. The present invention has an advantage that a processing delay time can be remarkably shortened by directly assigning the CID to the MS without involving a serving BS when the RS processes a ranging request message.
