Spectroscopic and electrical conductivity investigation of Mg doped LiNbO3 single crystals

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of Mg doped congruent LiNbO3 crystals were investigated by UV a nd IR spectrophotometry and AC conductivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

OH-related defects in LiNbO3:Mg,M (M = Nd, Cr, Ti, Mn) crystals

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors interpreted the 3539 cm −1 OH − stretching vibration related to Mg 2+ OH − complexes as an OH − vibration in an M 3+ ǫ-OH − ǔ-mg 2 + association, and the absorption strength of the OH − ions involved in this complex was estimated to be 6 × 10 −20 cm 2 ion −1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectroscopic properties of ZnWO4:Fe single crystals

TL;DR: The incorporation and charge of iron in ZnWO4:Fecrystals were investigated by absorption spectrometry as mentioned in this paper, where the UV bands at 350 nm and the visible band at 460 nm were found to be related to Fe3+ and Fe2+ ions respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

An infrared absorption band caused by OH− ions in a LiNbO3:Mg, Cr crystal

TL;DR: In this article, a new absorption band at 3506 cm −1 was observed in LiNbO 3 doped simultaneously with Mg and Cr. The band is distinctly separated from the well known band at 3485 cm − 1 in undoped crystals and from that near 3540cm − 1 due to MgOH complexes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectroscopic behaviour of iron doped Te02

TL;DR: In this article, the incorporation, distribution and spectroscopic properties of Fe3+ ions in paratellurite single crystals were investigated and the observed low distribution rate and the complicated spectra of as grown Te02:Fe crystals suggested that various Fe-centers have been produced.
