Syntheses, IR spectra, thermal properties and crystal structures of novel cyano-bridged polymeric complexes of zincII and cadmiumII with tetracyanoplatinateII

TL;DR: In this paper, two one-dimensional polymeric cyano-bridged platinum(II) complexes of N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-ethylenediamine (hydeten), [MII[Pt(CN) 2(μ-CN)2]n (MII=ZnII (1) and CdII (2)), were synthesized and characterized by physico-chemical methods (elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and thermoanalytical measurements) and X-ray diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure, spectroscopic and electrochemical properties of (2-amino-4-methylpyrimidine)-(pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylato)copper(II) monohydrate

TL;DR: In this article, the copper ion is considered to have two coordination spheres, the first is a distorted square-planar geometry with trans-N2O2 donor set, and the second is attributed to pseudo octahedron.
Journal ArticleDOI

A combined crystallographic, spectroscopic, antimicrobial, and computational study of novel dipicolinate copper(II) complex with 2-(2-hydroxyethyl)pyridine

TL;DR: In this article, a dipicolinate complex of copper(II) ion, [Cu(hepy)(dpc)H2O] [hepy: 2-(2-hydroxyethyl)pyridine; dpc: dipicoline or pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate], was prepared and fully characterized by single crystal X-ray structure determination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectroscopic characterization, X-ray structure, antimicrobial activity and DFT calculations of novel dipicolinate copper(II) complex with 2,6-pyridinedimethanol.

TL;DR: Calculated data show that the predicted geometries can reproduce the structural parameters of the copper complex as well as the results of time-depended DFT calculations with the polarizable continuum model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparations, IR spectra and crystal structures of cyano-bridged bimetallic complexes of zinc(II) and cadmium(II) with tetracyanopalladate(II)

TL;DR: In this paper, a polymeric chain was constructed by weak interchain hydrogen bonds, which formed a three-dimensional network, in which the zinc and cadmium atoms were six coordinate with two trans cyanide−nitrogen and four hydet-en N atoms in a distorted octahedron arrangement; the palladium atoms in 1 and 2 were four coordinate with four cyanide-C atoms in square planar arrangement.
