Journal ArticleDOI

Severity analysis of red-light-running-related crashes using structural equation modeling

TL;DR: Results showed that crash data supported the model hypothesis and measured/unobserved variables adequately predicted crash severity, and speed and kinetic energy were demonstrated to positively affect crash severity with kinetic energy being the more influential factor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Severity Analysis of Wildlife–Vehicle Crashes using Generalized Structural Equation Modeling:

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the impact of wildlife-vehicle crashes (WVCs) on wildlife welfare, human health, and the economy, and found that thousands of WVCs occur in North America each year.
