Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of minor and trace elements in milk and yogurts by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).
Naeem Khan,In Seon Jeong,In Min Hwang,Jae-Sung Kim,Sung Hwa Choi,Eun Yeong Nho,Ji Yeon Choi,Kyung Su Park,Kyong Su Kim +8 more
TL;DR: The overall concentrations of minor elements were found to have good nutritional values in accordance to RDA and the level of toxic trace elements, including As, Cd and Pb were very low and did not pose any threat to consumers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Method validation for simultaneous determination of chromium, molybdenum and selenium in infant formulas by ICP-OES and ICP-MS
Naeem Khan,In Seon Jeong,In Min Hwang,Jae-Sung Kim,Sung Hwa Choi,Eun Yeong Nho,Ji Yeon Choi,Byung-Man Kwak,Jang-Hyuk Ahn,Taehyung Yoon,Kyong Su Kim +10 more
TL;DR: The contents of Cr, Mo and Se in infant formulas by ICP-MS were found in good nutritional values in accordance to nutrient standards for infant formulas CODEX values.
Journal ArticleDOI
Application of Stable Isotope Ratio Analysis for Origin Authentication of Pork
Kyong Su Kim,Jae-Sung Kim,In Min Hwang,In Seon Jeong,Naeem Khan,Sun Im Lee,Dong Bok Jeon,Yang Hoon Song,Kwan Suk Kim +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the stable isotope ratio of the pork samples from different countries was analyzed using isotope ratios of nitrogen (δ 15 N) and carbon (−13 C) for origin authentication.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of Radiation Induced Hydrocarbons in Irradiated Camembert and Processed Cheese by GC-MS
In Seon Jeong,Ji Yeon Choi,Eun Yeong Nho,In Min Hwang,Naeem Khan,Girum Habte,Hye-Young Seo,Byung Sook Kim,Kyong Su Kim +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the gamma and electron beam irradiation in Camembert and processed cheeses was used to identify the major hydrocarbons in the cheese samples, including pentadecane and 1-tetradecene and 1,7-hexadecadiene.
Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of Hydrocarbons Induced by Electron Beam Irradiation of Almond (Prunus amygosalus L.) and Peanut (Arachis hypogaea)
In Seon Jeong,Jae-Sung Kim,Sung Hwa Choi,Ji Yeon Choi,Eun Yeong Nho,Naeem Khan,Byung Sook Kim,Kyong Su Kim +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the major hydrocarbons in both irradiated samples were found to be 1,7-hexadecadiene (C16:2) and 8-heptadecane (C17:1) from oleic acid.
