An Investigation of Student Habits in Mathematics Courses.
Patricia B. Cerrito,Inessa Levi +1 more
TL;DR: This article conducted a study of student study habits in three introductory mathematics courses: intermediate algebra, college algebra, and precalculus, and found that regular collection and grading of homework is highly correlated with increased study time in mathematics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Groups Associated with Finite Transformation Semigroups
Journal ArticleDOI
Normal semigroups of one-to-one transformations
TL;DR: In this article, the problem of determining the elements of a transformation semigroup S explicitly is considered for a set X of total one-to-one transformations of the set X.
Journal ArticleDOI
Automorphisms of normal transformation semigroups
TL;DR: In this article, a semigroup of all bijections of a set X and S is defined as a group of all transformations of X with the composition of transformations f and g in S defined by the formula S is a -normal semigroup.
Automorphisms of normal transformation semigroups
TL;DR: In this paper, a semigroup of all bijections of a set X and S is defined as a group of all transformations of X with the composition of transformations f and g in S defined by the formula S is a -normal semigroup.
