The Blockchain is the newest and perspective technology in modern economy. This technology can help to solve different kind of problems in the industrial sphere, such as trust, transparency, security and reliability of data processing. In theory, the use of Blockchain technology shows great and positive results, but what can say about practice? In this paper the description of the Blockchain technology, and it advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. The Advantages and Disadvantages of the Blockchain Technology

In the past few years, the implementation of blockchain technology for various applications has been widely discussed in the research community and the industry. There are sufficient number of articles that discuss the possibility of applying blockchain technology in various areas, such as, healthcare, IoT, and business. However, in this article, we present a comparative analysis of core blockchain architecture, its fundamental concepts, and its applications in three major areas: the Internet-of-Things (IoT), healthcare, business and vehicular industry. For each area, we discuss in detail, challenges and solutions that have been proposed from the research community and industry. This research studies also presented the complete ecosystem of blockchain of all the papers we reviewed and summarized. Moreover, analysis is performed of various blockchain platforms, their consensus models, and applications. Finally, we discuss key aspects that are required for the widespread future adoption of blockchain technology in these major areas.

This paper presents how to apply continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) principles, practices, and tools so as to minimize waste, support rapid feedback loops, explore the hidden technical debt, improve value delivery and maintenance, and improve operational functions for real-world machine learning applications.

Applying DevOps Practices of Continuous Automation for Machine Learning

Smart parking can be regarded as a part of IoT application using wireless sensors nodes. The scope of this paper is to present a smart parking solution utilizing a min-max detection algorithm. Based on this algorithm, we performed an experiment using a smart parking area in a Smart City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Numerical results presented, verify 98% accuracy of the algorithm based on the sample taken.

Smart parking: An IoT application for smart city

The availability and advancements of cloud computing service models such as IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS; introducing on-demand self-service, auto scaling, easy maintenance, and pay as you go, has dramatically transformed the way organizations design and operate their datacenters. However, some organizations still have many concerns like: security, governance, lack of expertise, and migration. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the cloud computing customers’ opinions, feedbacks, attitudes, and emotions towards cloud computing services using sentiment analysis. The associated aim, is to help people and organizations to understand the benefits and challenges of cloud services from the general public’s perspective view as well as opinions about existing cloud providers, focusing on three main cloud providers: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud. The methodology used in this paper is based on sentiment analysis applied to the tweets that were extracted from social media platform (Twitter) via its search API. We have extracted a sample of 11,000 tweets and each cloud provider has almost similar proportion of the tweets based on relevant hashtags and keywords. Analysis starts by combining the tweets in order to find the overall polarity about cloud computing, then breaking the tweets to find the specific polarity for each cloud provider. Bing and NRC Lexicons are employed to measure the polarity and emotion of the terms in the tweets. The overall polarity classification of the tweets across all cloud providers shows 68.5% positive and 31.5% negative percentages. More specifically, Azure shows 63.8% positive and 36.2% negative tweets, Google Cloud shows 72.6% positive and 27.4% negative tweets and AWS shows 69.1% positive and 30.9% negative tweets.

The benefits management approach complements most of the common project management methodologies such as critical chain project management (CCPM), and PRINCE2. The majority of these methodologies focus on how to com-ply with three parameters: time, cost and quality instead of identifying the positive outcomes and benefits for an organization. In this paper, a different approach for the organization is presented, which focuses on positive outcomes named as benefits. Moreover, a comparison between Benefits Management and PRINCE2 methodologies is illustrated.
