Spinnato,M. G. Visconti,T. Wlostowski +75 more
TL;DR: The ICARUS-T600 detector has collected 25 neutrino-associated events; the corresponding time of flight has been accurately evaluated, using all different time synchronization paths.

TL;DR: In this paper, the ICARUS-T600 PMT-DAQ and the CERN-LNGS timing synchronization have been substantially improved for this campaign, taking advantage of additional independent GPS receivers, both at CERN and LNGS as well as of the deployment of the "White Rabbit" protocol.
Journal ArticleDOI
How to create successful Open Hardware projects ? About White Rabbits and open fields
E. van der Bij,M Arruat,M Cattin,Grzegorz Daniluk,J D Gonzalez Cobas,E Gousiou,J Lewis,Maciej Lipinski,J. Serrano,T Stana,N Voumard,T Wlostowski +11 more
TL;DR: CERN's accelerator control group has embraced ''Open Hardware'' (OH) to facilitate peer review, avoid vendor lock-in and make support tasks scalable.
Free and open source software at cern: integration of drivers in the linux kernel
J D Gonzalez Cobas,S Iglesias Gonsalvez,J Lewis,Manohar Vanga,Emilio G. Cota,J. Serrano,F Vaga,Alessandro Rubini +7 more
TL;DR: This paper argues for the opposite approach: development in the open, which in this case translates into the integration of the tsi148 driver within the Linux kernel.
