Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions pd → 3 He η and pd → 3 He π + π − near the η threshold

TL;DR: In this article, the SPES2 spectrometer was used to investigate rare {eta} decays with the presence of strong final state interaction, and the angular distribution is nearly isotropic, consistent with {ital S} wave production.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the branching ratio for the decay η-->μ + μ -

TL;DR: The result resolves the discrepancy between the two previous measurements of this branching ratio and is consistent with most quark and vector meson dominance models which describe the decay as an electromagnetic transition with a two-photon intermediate state.
Journal ArticleDOI

The {ital d}{searrow}{ital p}{r_arrow}{sup 3}He{pi}{sup 0} reaction near threshold

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the angular domain at 20 energies close to threshold (0.2 MeV) for the differential cross section and three deuteron analyzing powers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the branching ratio for the decay η→μ+μ-

TL;DR: The branching ratio for [eta][r arrow][mu][sup +][mu]sup [minus] has been measured at the SATURNE tagged-[eta] facility using the reaction [ital pd][ r arrow][sup 3]He [eta] as a source of [similar to]10[sup 8] tagged [eta]'s per day as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for the decays eta --> microe and eta -->e+e-

TL;DR: In this article, a search for the lepton-family-violating decay {eta}{r_arrow}{mu}{ital e} and the rare decay (a.k.a. lepton family violation) was conducted at the SPES2 tagged {eta} facility at Laboratoire National Saturne in the course of a measurement of {ital B} at the same lab.
