Large-scale production of polypropylenimine dendrimers
E.M.M. de Brabander-van den Berg,Atze Jan Nijenhuis,M. Mure,J. Keulen,Rafael Wilhelmus Elisabeth Ghislain Reintjens,Vandenbooren Franciscus Henric,B. Bosnian,R. De Raat,T. Frijns,S. v.D. Wal,M. Castelijns,J. Put,E. W. Meijer +12 more
TL;DR: The synthesis and characterization of a new series of polypropylenimine dendrimers is reported; apart from the first 0.5 generation they are all oils, possess a Tg in the range from −90 to −40 °C, are unexpectedly stable, and their intrinsic viscosity drops after generation 4.
Journal ArticleDOI
Kinetic scheme for intramolecular excimer formation in bis(.alpha.-naphthylmethyl)ether, involving different starting conformations
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel Supramolecular Polymer Networks Based on Melamine- and Imide-Containing Oligomers
Ton Loontjens,J. Put,Betty Coussens,Ronald Frans Maria Lange,Jo H. M. Palmen,Ton Sleijpen,Bart Plum +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, reversible, supramolecular polymer networks based on commercially available bulk chemicals, and prepared using an industrially attractive route are described, where the difunctional low molecular weight polytetramethyleneoxide is functionalized with trimellitic imide, and reversibly crosslinked with the trifunctionally melamine using the well known imide-diaminopyridine triple hydrogen bonding pattern.
Journal ArticleDOI
Occurrence of chain folding in micelles: A 13C NMR relaxation and photophysical study
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the relaxation times for the different carbons of the sodium dodecyl sulphate chain in micellar systems using Gd 3+ as a paramagnetic relaxation reagent.
