Changes in Optical Properties of Ce: YAG Crystals under Annealing and Irradiation Processing
Slawomir Maksymilian Kaczmarek,G. Domianiak-Dzik,Witold Ryba-Romanowski,J. Kisielewski,J. Wojtkowska +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the optical properties of cerium doped YAG single crystals were investigated after thermal annealing at 1400°C and 1200°C in N 2 +H 2 mixture and subsequent γ or proton irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Radiation defects in LiNbO3 single crystals doped with Cr3+ ions
Slawomir Maksymilian Kaczmarek,R. Jablonski,M. Swirkowicz,I. Pracka,J. Wojtkowska,S. Warchol +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the absorption and additional absorption of LiNbO 3 crystals doped with Cr 3+ during growth or diffusion process were investigated before and after γ-irradiation with a dose of 10 5 Gy and also after proton irradiation with fluency of 10 14 cm -2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Valency change of Cr, Fe, Cu, Er, Ce dopants inside oxide compounds under proton irradiation
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of ionization and Frenkel defects on the luminescence changes of YAlO 3 :Er crystal under proton irradiation was investigated. And the accuracy of the intensity measurement of the 0.208 MeV gamma line from 167 Tm to 0.14%, including the statistical and systematic errors, was shown.
Interaction of protons with oxide compounds
TL;DR: In this paper, changes in optical properties of some oxide compounds (YAG, YAG:Nd 3+,YAG:Ce 3+ and YAG :Cr 3+ ) induced by 21 MeV proton irradiation were studied and it seems to be attributed to the ionization and recombination of definite centers.
Journal ArticleDOI
CHANGES IN LUMINESCENCE OF Ce:YAG CRYSTALS UNDER IONIZING RADIATION TREATMENT*
Slawomir Maksymilian Kaczmarek,Z. Moroz,Miroslaw Kwasny,J. Kisielewski,Tadeusz Lukasiewicz,J. Wojtkowska,H. Rzewuski +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, an increase in the lumi- nescence (about 100%) was observed after gamma irradiation with a dose of 10 5 Gy. This increase was due to the growth in Ce 3 + ions concentration after γ-irradiation.
