Measurement of saturation magnetostriction of a thin amorphous ribbon by means of small-angle magnetization rotation

TL;DR: In this article, a new method was developed to measure the saturation magnetostriction of a thin amorphous ribbon based on the use of small-angle magnetization rotation, which measured the change in anisotropy field caused by the tensile stress.
Journal ArticleDOI

Compositional effects on magnetic properties on Fe-Si-B glassy alloys

TL;DR: The dependence on composition of the Curie temperature, crystallization temperature and initial permeability were studied in Fe-Si-B alloys, and it was found that the alloys with about 14% of boron and 12 at% of silicon have high Curie and crystallization temperatures as well as soft-magnetic properties as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anisotropic magnetoresistance in transition metal‐boron amorphous alloys

TL;DR: Anisotropic magnetoresistance ratio (AMR) was measured for binary and ternary (Fe,Co,Ni) amorphous alloys over the temperature range from 77K to room temperature varying the composition systematically.
