NTIRE 2020 Challenge on Real Image Denoising: Dataset, Methods and Results

TL;DR: The NTIRE 2020 challenge on real image denoising with focus on the newly introduced dataset, the proposed methods and their results is reviewed in this paper, where a total of 22 teams, proposing 24 methods, competed in the final phase of the challenge.
Journal ArticleDOI

Wavelet subband-specific learning for low-dose computed tomography denoising

TL;DR: A stationary wavelet transform-assisted network employing the characteristics of high- and low-frequency domains of the wave let transform and frequency subband-specific losses defined in the wavelet domain is proposed, which acquired denoised CT images with high perceptual quality using this strategy while minimizing the objective quality loss.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unsupervised Domain Adaptation for Low-Dose Computed Tomography Denoising

TL;DR: In this article , a domain adaptation approach was proposed for low-dose CT denoising. But the method requires a large number of training samples, which is impractical in real-world scenarios.
