Movement of maximum heat flux and wetting front during quenching of hot cylindrical block

TL;DR: In this article, the characteristics of heat transfer and wetting front during quenching high temperature cylindrical block by water jet at atmospheric pressure were studied by applying a two-dimensional inverse solution.
Journal ArticleDOI

An analytical solution for two-dimensional inverse heat conduction problems using Laplace transform

TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical method was developed for two-dimensional inverse heat conduction problems by using the Laplace transform technique, where the inverse solutions were obtained under two simple boundary conditions in a finite rectangular body, with one and two unknowns, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analytical method of two‐dimensional inverse heat conduction problem using Laplace transformation: Effect of number of measurement points

TL;DR: In this article, an analytical method has been developed for the inverse problem of two-dimensional heat conduction using the Laplace transform technique, which is solved for only two unknown surface conditions and the other surfaces are insulated in a finite rectangular body.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improvement of inverse heat conduction solution using Laplace transformation: Method of partial division of time

TL;DR: In this article, the Laplace transform was used to estimate the surface temperature and surface heat flux in the case of the triangular shape change and sharp change with time, and an approximate equation to trace the measured temperature change can be derived.
