TL;DR: The hemodynamic parameters differed between women who developed preeclampsia versus normotensive parturients and this finding suggests that cardiac dysfunction plays a role in the pathophysiology of preeClampsia, regardless of its onset, and may help predict the progression from mild to severe disease.
