Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of substitution (Ta, Al, Ga) on the conductivity of Li7La3Zr2O12

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that cubic stabilizing substitutions outside of the Li-ion sub-lattice are preferable to obtain faster Li ion conductivity, and they also suggest that cubic stabilization substitutions are preferable for obtaining faster Liion conductivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Understanding Solid Electrolyte Interface Film Formation on Graphite Electrodes

TL;DR: In this paper, the formation process of solid electrolyte interface (SEI) film on graphite electrode during initial cycles was studied using ac impedance, and it was shown that the SEI formation takes place through two major stages.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Attempt to Formulate Nonflammable Lithium Ion Electrolytes with Alkyl Phosphates and Phosphazenes

TL;DR: Using alkyl phosphates and a cyclophosphazene as cosolvents, the possibility of formulating a non-flammable electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries was explored in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrical conductivity and charge compensation in Ta doped Li4Ti5O12

TL;DR: Ta doping in Li4Ti5O12 (Li4Ti4.95Ta0.05O12) as function of different heat-treat atmospheres (oxidizing/reducing) was investigated as mentioned in this paper.
