Bone marrow and peripheral blood lym‐phocytosis in the prognosis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia

TL;DR: It was found that a reasonably accurate prognosis for patients with early CLL could be made, and the ratio of percentage bone marrow space occupied by lymphatic tissue in sections of the first pretreatment bone marrow biopsy to the absolute peripheral blood lymphocyte count at that time was inversely proportional to survival time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bacterial enzymes: powerful tools for protein labeling, cell signaling, and therapeutic discovery.

TL;DR: A review of the most prominent bacterial enzymes used for site-specific modification of proteins, in vivo protein labeling, proximity labeling, interactome mapping, signaling pathway manipulation, and therapeutic discovery can be found in this paper .
Journal ArticleDOI

Weaponizing the proteasome to overcome antimalarial drug resistance.

TL;DR: Zhan et al. as mentioned in this paper combined two anti-malarial agents (an artemisinin and a proteasome inhibitor) into a single compound called ATZ, which has an additional antimalarial mechanism of action beyond that of its components.
