Journal ArticleDOI

Can SiO bonds be stabilized by Rh/Ir complexes?: A density functional theory study

TL;DR: In this paper, the interaction of various Rh/Ir complexes with silanones was investigated using the B3LYP density functional method and relativistic effective core potentials.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

MP2-F12 basis set convergence for the S66 noncovalent interactions benchmark: Transferability of the complementary auxiliary basis set (CABS)

TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that auxiliary basis sets for F12 explicitly correlated calculations appear to be more transferable between orbital basis sets than has been generally assumed, and propose a suitable CABS sequence for them.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reduced-Scaling Double Hybrid Density Functional Theory with Rapid Basis Set Convergence through Localized Pair Natural Orbital F12

TL;DR: Mehta et al. as mentioned in this paper showed that the slow basis set convergence of the double hybrid density functional theory can be obviated by the use of F12 explicit correlation in the second order Görling-Levy perturbation theory.
Journal ArticleDOI

Automatic generation of complementary auxiliary basis sets for explicitly correlated methods

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that autoCABS‐generated CABS basis sets are comparable in quality to purpose‐optimized OptRI basis sets from the literature, and that the quality difference becomes entirely negligible as n increases.
