Effect of Liquid Contamination on Hermeticity and Seal Strength of Flexible Pouches with LLDPE

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of liquid contamination along the T-point of flexible pouches made on a horizontal form fill and seal (HFFS) flow-wrap machine was simulated.

System Reduction Using Modified Pole Clustering and Modified Cauer Continued Fraction

TL;DR: In this paper, a mixed method by combining modified pole clustering technique and modified cauer continued fraction is proposed for reducing the order of the large-scale dynamic systems, which generated 'k' number of reduced order models for k order reduction.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A Comparative Study of Violence Risk Assessment Tools: A Systematic Review and Metaregression Analysis of 68 Studies Involving 25,980 Participants

TL;DR: A systematic review and meta-analysis of nine commonly used risk assessment instruments following PRISMA guidelines was carried out in this paper, showing that a tool designed to detect violence risk in juveniles, the Structured Assessment of Violence Risk in Youth (SAVRY), produced the highest rates of predictive validity, while an instrument used to identify adults at risk for general offending, the Level of Service Inventory - Revised (LSIR), and a personality scale commonly used for the purposes of risk assessment, the Psychopathy Checklist- Revised (PCL-R).
